New president of the EAGE - Congratulations to Dr. Dirk Orlowsky

DMT GROUP is very proud to announce that Dr. Dirk Orlowsky (Senior Geoscientist and Senior Project Manager, DMT GROUP) has been elected as the new President of EAGE (European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers), the international non-profit society promoting the development and application of geosciences and related engineering subjects.

Dirk previously held the position of Vice President of EAGE, but in his new role will focus on transforming the profile, global spread, membership, knowledge transfer, and public awareness of EAGE via a 5-year strategic plan.
 
DMT GROUP’s commitment to excellence and innovation extends beyond our own boundaries, and we are looking forward to contributing to – and learning from – the work that Dirk will be leading through EAGE.
 
Furthermore, we look forward to seeing Dirk play a central part in shaping EAGE into a global society, as one of the most innovative science associations worldwide, and wish him the best of luck in his new and honourable role.
