Mining Network Expo 2019 - Innovation workshop and exhibition
On the 18th of November 2019 the first Mining Network Expo (MNE) will take place in Essen at the World Cultural Heritage Site Zollverein.
The aim of the Mining Network Expo is to bring together international innovators from the mining industry, exchange experience, identify needs, establish innovation networks and present current international market-oriented innovation and research projects.
The MNE will start with an innovation workshop and bring together actors and multipliers from Canada (e.g. CIME, Orbit Garant Drilling, the University of Quebec, Dias Geophysical, Rythmik Solutions and many more) and Germany (e.g. RWTH, MAMMA, CERA and TalpaSolutions and DMT). The workshop will present specific innovation priorities, identify innovation needs and stimulate possible intercontinental innovation projects.
The following exhibition offers you as a visitor and/or exhibitor the following opportunities: a) Introduction to and exhibition of mining innovations, b) network development, expansion and initiation of cross-continental innovation routes as well as c) exchange and consultations with engineers, experts and consultants.

The MNE is part of the "German Mining Tech Weeks" under the patronage of the Institute for Advanced Mining Technologies of RWTH Aachen University, the DMT Group and VDMA Mining. Eight different mining events from Aachen, Berlin, Frankfurt, Essen to Brussels will take place in the weeks from 11 to 21 November. The highlight is the "Smart Mining Conference" (https://smartmining.academy-rwth.de) on 19 and 20 November 2019 in Aachen's Tivoli stadium.
