Hydrogen: Facilitating market ramp-up and building international networks. Delegation trip "Essen - Energy Capital of Europe meets Dubai"

In order to position Europe's energy capital more strongly internationally, a delegation from Essen headed by Mayor Thomas Kufen is visiting Dubai. Key actors of the hydrogen economy from the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region meet key actors from administration, economy and industry from Dubai. Focal points include introductions to hydrogen strategies, technical cooperations and an exchange of experiences on the hydrogen roadmap.

Dr. Maik Tiedemann, member of the TÜV NORD GROUP Executive Council, CEO of DMT GROUP and member of the hydrogen advisory board of the city of Essen is part of the delegation. He emphasizes the importance of international cooperation, trust, common goals and paths of action to make hydrogen a sustainable success as the central element of the energy transition.
 
To reflect the importance of this topic, the HydroHub was launched. A business platform to promote the hydrogen services in consulting, engineering and training of TÜV NORD GROUP. DMT, as the leading organization for engineering and consulting in the TÜV NORD GROUP, hosts this platform, which is managed by Dr. Carsten Gelhard.
