The project is managed by the Wirtschaftsförderung metropoleruhr GmbH (Ruhr business development) together with partner companies and local authorities from other Ruhr cities (Essen, Oberhausen, Bottrop and Recklinghausen).
Greentech.Ruhr aims to enhance the marketability of environmental services in areas such as energy production and storage, recycling and waste management, water management, sustainable mobility plus the efficient use of raw materials and energy, while at the same time promoting the expertise of Ruhr-based companies both nationally and at international level. DMT will contribute to the project with know-how and experience, for example in the fields of geothermal energy, renaturation, groundwater monitoring and hazardous waste disposal. The network of local expertise created by the project will help to strengthen the Ruhr’s position and open up additional growth opportunities in the environment sector.
